2011 CUTC Summer Meeting

The CUTC Summer Meeting was held June 13-15, 2011. This year’s event, which was hosted by OTREC, was extremely successful with over 150 representatives from university transportation centers from around the country. The three day meeting included meetings and discussions on the following topics:

• Status of transportation workforce development initiatives (national summit progress and meeting workforce development needs at a local, regional and national level).
• RITA managers overview
• UTC information sharing and partnership development by USDOT priority areas
• The Oregon Model of Integration of Transportation and Land Use for Livable Communities
• The role of research and the UTC

The CUTC General Membership Business Meeting, the UTC Administrative Managers Meeting and the National Workforce Summit Planning Meeting were also held in Oregon.  For meeting minutes for the CUTC General Meeting please see the Meetings tab.  A full agenda is still available on the OTREC website.

Membership Dues

CUTC membership dues for the 2011-2012 fiscal year have been sent out in July of 2011. Please note that membership dues will be increased this year from $400 to $600 following a vote at the CUTC Summer Meeting.
